well...in traditional mode, we were fashionably late to say the least-pulling up outside simon greeted us with a huge wad of entry forms and said there had been sixty plus competitors and we were just in time for the barn bouldering final-after a hefty caffeine fix, it was pointed out that I had a rather large camera bag-yeah..I’ve got a big lens mate-and so I got
into a conversation about all things point and shooty with mark kemball who also had a really
gucci camera hanging from his neck-he knew all about ndcc and hobbit in charge rick abbott so the conversation went on-
oh yes..the bouldering final-better get some pics then-turns out that simon had been busy
turning the forty broblems into a dirty great seventy four-that was three days of dedication
then-the routes covered a broad range from technically challenged but fun to “yooooooo
waaaaaaatt !” and the standard of climbing was just awesome-
