a summer of random events
random stuff eh....well we’ve been out loads so far this summer-both self satisfying missions
and a lot of group stuff too- there was an incident from the “house of fab” that took place in
glastonbury involving a large van, watching the sunset, beer, a fire, and apparently no more
van- a helmet throwing incident that saw nic make a very rapid 100ft abseil down to break up
the huge punch up that followed, grrr bloody kids!- mca nearly chucking his government
sponsored job incident after a savage audit by a bunch of partly trained, over zealous
monkeys- and plenty of incidents involving ndcc members being attacked by bitey bugs
yep...things are going full swing- next month we are off to look at rocks in yet more trees and
have another one of those “ndcc lets all go climb stuff” days out- a trip to the barn is well
overdue (has simon started the new jamming route yet?)-funkmaster stan is back from
glastonbury with a new tattoo (too much “scrudgers old peculiar”-passed out- woke up with
it apparently)- fab is back too although he hasn’t been seen yet- pilton wall will be getting
some more bits soon- daren is off to have a doctor do things to his nose with sharp objects
so he won’t be allowed to exert himself for a week or so- mca is busy painting a new series
of work- weeman is back at the architects place for the summer- luis has been reviewing
robot vacuum cleaners and nic has almost completed super mario bros
there we go...random- (made, done, happening, or chosen without method or conscious
decision)- next months word of the summer- “letterboxing”
